The LDV V80 is equipped with an advanced 2.5 litre turbo diesel engine designed by Italian diesel engine specialist VM Motori. The Bosch electronically controlled, common rail, direct fuel injected, intercooled engine supplies 100kw @ 3800rpm and 330Nm of torque. The engine is mounted transversely on the frame and provides the vehicle's front wheel drive. The engine employs a common rail fuel injection system for improved combustion efficiency, as well as low fuel consumption.

LDV V80 is built for capacity and efficiency. The Cab Chassis large buildable load area offers a length in excess of 3.6m and a width of 2.1m, which is substantial in anyone's language. And the V80 is no slouch when it comes to payload, with the ability to take up to 1700kg*. If you need to carry large loads the V80 is definitely up to the task.
